Excellent news coming out of Microsoft Patterns & Practices regarding the release of Enterprise Library 5 and Unity 2.
As you may know, Visual Studio 2010 is expected to be released on April 12, 2010. Two days later, April 14, 2010, Microsoft Patterns & Practices is expecting to release both Enterprise Library 5 and Unity 2. In addition to the release, there are expected to be two beta releases of EntLib 5 and Unity 2. The rough schedule is as follows:
- Beta 1 - Feb 7, 2010
- Beta 2 - Mar 15, 2010
- RTM - April 14, 2010
Even more important is that Enterprise Library 5 will target both Visual Studio 2008 and Visual Studio 2010!
